Mark and Allison's wedding

Ryan's brother, Mark, was married a month ago on June 13 to my new sister in law, Allison. This marriage brought not only Allison, but her two wonderful children, Chelsea and Hunter, into the family. We had a fantastic weekend with our houseguests, Todd and Owen, as well!

All the men.

Allison and Mark's first dance as husband and wife..along with Owen!

Ryan and his brothers.

We had way too much fun with the whole family!!

Jamaica

Ryan and I traveled to Runaway Bay, Jamaica for Erin and Nick's wedding in late May. Erin is a dear friend who was in my wedding a year ago and I cannot fail to mention that we survived a fire together back when we were single girls living in Dover, NH in our mid-20's! Erin was married a day before Ryan and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary, so this trip served a dual purpose!

Here is the wedding site...not too shabby!

Ryan's and my favorite part of the beach. It was virtually empty every day.

And a view looking the other way...

So relaxing. I took a nap here one day.

The glowing bride and I after the wedding.

The handsome bride and groom.

We had such a great time together and meeting all sort of new people, both family and friends of Nick and Erin. If I had to do it over again, I might just do a destination wedding!

OK, let's try this again....

OK, so we started this blog a whole NINE MONTHS AGO and haven't posted since. We'll give it another shot, since we have lots to talk about in 2008! For starters, we have become travelers extraordinaire since getting hitched and 2008 has been no exception. In April, we visited Ryan's brother, Todd and his wife, Cathy and nephew Owen in Happy Valley, Oregon. Our newest nephew (we now have FOUR!) is still in Cathy's belly at the time of our visit:
Todd and Ryan....I'm a little scared.
Dinner at the best place ever: Laurelwood. Pizza, Beer and play areas for kids!
Cathy, Todd and Owen and Grant is there, too! We just can't see him yet!

Gracie is their beloved cat, who we gladly used as our substitute cat during our visit and brought her to bed with us every night!
As usual, we had a great time on our visit to Oregon and can't wait to go again!
